Luigi Lucioni Etching "Route 7"
An original 1946 etching on paper by listed Italian-American painter and printer Luigi Lucioni (1900-1988). The etching depicts a painting Lucioni previously created, titled Route 7. Overall 18.75" W x 14.75" H x 0.5" D. The print depicts a winding road carving through a picturesque countryside. Tall trees line the road, and massive mountains fill the background. A few squat buildings sit along the road’s edge in the foreground. The print is signed and dated in-plate, and is signed in pencil in the lower margin. It is matted in off-white, and is presented behind glass in a half round dry finished frame.
